Everything is there, equipment is nice, camper is nice but we needed to pay more than was discussed on the site so it was too expensive for what it was

I reserved a Van with Vantastic, but then cancelled it and chose another one….to make it short, there was a mix up and when we arrived, there was no van for us…BUT, we got another better and bigger van instead. To make it short, we were happy with the fast uncomplicated handling of the situation. The communication was very fast and uncomplicated and we got very nice trip advices. Overall a very good experience!

Wir haben einen Roadtrip mit dem Vito Camper durch Albanien gemacht und jede Minute davon genossen.

Sowohl die Abholung als auch die Rückgabe des Bullis haben absolut reibungslos funktioniert. Auf alle Vereinbarungen konnte man sich zu 100 % verlassen. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich gastfreundlich – wir wurden direkt mit kalten und warmen Getränken empfangen und haben viele wertvolle Tipps für unsere Reise durch Albanien bekommen.

Besonders hilfreich fanden wir die Karte mit markierten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wildcamping-Spots und Campingplätzen. Dadurch konnten wir bestens vorbereitet und voller Vorfreude in unseren Roadtrip starten.

Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top. Der Vito ließ sich super fahren und war ein gemütliches Zuhause auf Rädern. Durch die Holzwände und das niedliche Waschbecken mit der Holzarbeitsplatte hatte der Camper einen ganz besonderen Landhaus-Charme. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an richtig wohlgefühlt.

Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt war der begrenzte Stauraum. Allerdings hatten wir zusätzlich ein SUP gemietet, wodurch natürlich noch etwas Platz verloren ging. Deshalb war das für uns absolut verschmerzbar.

Als wir den Bulli zurückgebracht haben, wurde uns sogar ein Taxi organisiert. Auch um die Endreinigung mussten wir uns überhaupt nicht kümmern. Dieser Service hat den rundum positiven Eindruck noch einmal bestätigt.

Wir sind absolut begeistert und würden jederzeit wieder bei Vantastic einen Camper mieten. Eine ganz klare Herzensempfehlung!

We had an amazing experience renting the Ford Transit campervan for our trip through Albania. The service was very friendly from the beginning, and the team was always helpful, responsive, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. They replied quickly and made us feel well supported throughout our journey.

The campervan was in good condition and came fully equipped with towels, bedding, chairs, and a table, which made our trip very comfortable.

In de meivakantie hebben we de 4×4 Jeep met daktent gehuurd. En wat een heerlijke tijd hebben we gehad! De auto was goed uitgerust en ruim. Aan alles was gedacht, ook aan extra dekens voor de koude nachten in april.

De airco bleek kapot maar het team dacht goed mee met de reparatie.
Omdat we veel in de wildernis kampeerden, kookten we veel zelf. Per 2 dagen gebruikten we 1 gasflesje. Aan het begin kregen we 3 flessen mee dus we kwamen op een gegeven moment zonder te zitten. Omdat het een kooktoestel van Duitse makelij is en de gasflesjes niet (makkelijk?) te koop zijn in Albanië, zorgde dat voor onduidelijkheid. Maar dit is ook goed opgepakt – tegelijk met de airco reparatie werden we ook voorzien van gasflesjes.

De verhuurder hebben we alleen telefonisch gesproken, dat vinden we wel jammer, hij was wel heel vriendelijk en meedenkend! Veel van de auto (hoe het zonnepaneel werkt, hoe je de luifel van de daktent regelt) hebben we zelf uit moeten vinden omdat de personen die ons de auto overhandigden het niet wisten.

We hebben genoten van alle natuurplekken waar we dankzij Park4Night hebben overnacht. Het meedenken met een route is ook iets dat we gemist hebben van de verhuurder.

We hebben genoten van de vrijheid, de gezelligheid van de daktent, het buitenleven en de krachtige auto voor wie geen weg te moeilijk was.

Aan het einde van de vakantie hebben we wat spulletjes, zoals: kruiden, wc-papier, keukenrol, koffie in de auto achter gelaten. We vonden dat handige dingen om standaard in de auto te hebben.

We genieten na van de heerlijke tijd in Albanië!

Thank you for this incredible experience! Travelling through Albania with the Jeep 4×4 and rooftop tent was an absolute dream – waking up to views of the Vjosa river, the Prokletije mountains and the Albanian coast made every single morning unforgettable. It was our first rooftop tent experience and we couldn’t have wished for a better setup.

Communication was smooth and friendly throughout, pick-up and drop-off were easy and straightforward.

One thing to mention: at pick-up, please double-check that all equipment is complete. We discovered some items were missing only once we were already on the road. The team was helpful in resolving it, but it would have saved us some hassle to catch it earlier.

Overall an incredible trip and a great rental experience. Albania with a rooftop tent is something we will absolutely recommend to everyone!

From booking to handing back this was one of the most pleasant experiences. The car I had with a tent box on was perfect! The car itself was super good for the roads in Albanian mountains and sturdy, handled the roads really well which is needed to access some of the more remote places. The tent box is incredible. It really does go up super fast and it’s so simple. I was alone but you could easily fit 2 people, it’s similar to a double bed. Because the sleeping space is above, you’re able to use the car for storage. Everything you need is there, I especially loved the big battery pack and electric blanket, so being cold is not a problem at all. Definitely looking forward to coming back and seeing more of Albania this way.

We had an amazing experience traveling around Albania with a camper van! Albania is such a perfect destination for this kind of trip, the landscapes are absolutely stunning, and it was incredible to wake up every day in a different place.
We rented the Vito van, which is simple but very comfortable and worked perfectly for the days we had. A big thank you to the whole team! The customer service through WhatsApp was very good and always very helpful.

We had a last minute booking that came with some complications, but the team went above and beyond to make everything work out perfectly.
We had a camper van for a few days and a rooftent overlander for the rest of our trip (this is what we initially booked). Both clean and well equipped, with enough place to sleep (i'm 1.95m).
We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing experience driving around the South of Albania, easy pick up up and drop off. Van was newly refurbished and was clean. Came with bedding, towels, cooking equipment and even washing up liquid. Communication with the team was easy too – they even gave us the Whatsapp of a taxi company that we used once we dropped off the van.

The only unfortunate thing is that you pay the security deposit over Paypal, and when it was returned we lost a significant amount of money, probably due to Paypal's conversion rates. Maybe Revolut or something similar could be used for future customers to avoid them and you from losing so much money to Paypal?

We rented a 4×4 Volkswagen Tiguan with a rooftop tent for little over a week. It came with full sleeping gear and kitchen gear, chairs and a table. The tent was a modern iKamper, super easy to setup and put away (once you get the hang of it it's like 5min work).

We got full insurance since it's a big car and the roads are really bad in some parts of the country. The 4×4 worked perfectly at every part of our journey.

You do start to feel your back a little after a while from the small matrass inside, so consider placing another (inflatable) small mat on top as a tip.

A great way to see the country!

I had an amazing experience renting my campervan from Vantastic Albania! Everything went smoothly from start to finish – the van was in perfect condition, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed for my road trip across Albania. Communication with the team was very easy and friendly; they were always available and quick to reply.

What really stood out was how helpful they were with travel tips — they constantly recommended great places to visit along my route, from beautiful beaches to mountain viewpoints and charming small towns. Thanks to them, I discovered spots I would have never found on my own.

We had a great experience. We had two weeks the Grand Cherokee with the rooftop tent. The vehicle was absolut fantastic. It was in good condition. Really a great vehicle to explore albania

We had an amazing experience with this rental! Communication with the host was excellent—always reachable and very helpful. When picking up the vehicle, we received clear instructions on both the car and the roof tent, as well as great tips on must-see spots in Albania.

The roof tent was a real highlight: it was fully set up in under a minute. At night, we could enjoy a stunning view of the stars, which made camping extra special. When fully closed, it was completely dark inside—perfect for a good night’s sleep.

The gear had everything we needed for cooking: oil, spices, dish soap, paper towels, and enough gas canisters. Clean towels (not 2, but 4 of them!), sheets, and pillows were also provided. There were also nice extras, such as wet wipes, a fully functional shower, and the best part—a powerful external battery that lasted for 99 hours, keeping our phones charged without any worry.

The only minor drawbacks were the chairs, which could use replacing, and the mattress, which we found a bit too firm.

Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

We have a great experience with Henry , it is fully equipped and with all confort even if it is not a new van, exactly as shown in the pictures. We were just two persons but you can sleep also 4. The rental is a family owned , they are very kind and welcoming , helped us since the beginning. They accommodated our request for an early check in, helped us when we had problems (not with the van-it was working perfectly also in the Albanian ups and downs) along the way and since the end of our vacations. I suggest to rent the sup, it’s only 40€ for the entire week and you will really enjoy on Albanian seaside ! Thank you Vantastic for the great experience !

Everything about our trip through Vantastic went incredibly smooth. I agree with all previous reviews, owners were very helpful and kind. Always there when we needed them and the van was a pleasure to drive/sleep.

We had a wonderful trip with Vantastic Albania. The car was comfortable and spacious enough for a family of four with luggage. The roof tent is great and fits four people perfectly and is quick to set up. Excellent service, including helpful camping suggestions.

The contact person from the car rental company was very friendly, and we were warmly welcomed. Vito took us everywhere for two weeks. We went from the north to the south of Albania. It was truly a great vehicle for exploring the country.

Whenever we had questions, the contact person was easy to reach via phone message, and always responded fast.

Returning the Vito was quick and hassle free, and once again we were greeted with a warm welcome.

All in all, we had a great experience and we highly recommend renting your camper here ! 😊

We rented a Volkswagen T6 California and we were very happy with it, ot was clean, almost new and drove very smoothly in the roads. It was ideal for our 10day roadtrip.

We had a very nice trip true Albania with a family of 4. The car was good, services of Vantastic were excellent. We had a Jeep with a roof tent for 4 which included all needed equipment and more.

We visited Albania and rented the Ford transit! Egla & Ani were lovely and helpful, communication was great. We had such a fantastic time in the van, it had everything we needed and would definitely recommend renting from them for your Albanian travels. It was a dream!

We rented the California Beach T5 for a week — what an amazing experience! The van was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for a road trip. The rooftop bed was especially comfy. Ani was professional and quick to respond when needed. We highly recommend it and would definitely do it again.

Everything fine, we had a great roadtrip through Albania. Communication was great, fast and very friendly. Well equiped Jeep wirh Lots of Camping Stuff – we loved the big umbrella for the Beach.
